Swissed 

  

The Swiss week , a week full of Swiss chocolates ,traveling by the Swiss railways to the cities and train hopping all over ,with some great views ,natural beauty ,and small by lanes up hill and down hill,the connectivity of trams in the cities too were smooth and hassle free ,the week ended with the weather going high to 30 degree in our last spot and welcoming us in India with  40degree .


Travel Tips:
Switzerland ,Lucerne travel  brochure has a page where if you cut it and take it to the buchmann chocolate shop  to get a bag of FREE LIN\DT MINI chocolates .
Another point to remember if you have been shopping around in the (EU)European union cities go to the global blue tax free centre in the local galleria arcade since Switzerland isn’t part of the (EU) and you won’t get the tax refund there for your shopping in the European union cities ,Last but not the least if you want to grab lindt hot chocolate you can get that at the zurich airport . 
Day 4,Brussels day trip was from the eye of the local .From getting to eat at the best hot chocolate place to getting treated for the best Belgian chocolates and enjoying waffles and fries and last but not the least getting to see the tourist attraction with the history behind it .The central Brussels were covered on Foot ,the 9 hours there in Brussels we covered most of it.

Margarita with a straw 

A movie based on calebral  palsy with Kalki as the lead ,playing the character .movie has quite a few issues addressed in the duration of 102 mins  . One of them being it’s difficult to survive and live  in a country like India if you are not “normal being “,it’s difficult for the family to manage a handicapped person because of the way people behave  and the complete way of living changes if you are physically challenged 

How much ever a physical challenged person tries to live a normal life it’s just not possible .United States of America is the place for all including the handicapped  ,that gives them respect ,individual identity and a freedom to live life in their own terms .The films title Actually comes from when one evening Kalki is out with the “blind” girl and orders a margarita with a straw because she find it difficult to have it without One .and then the story moves to a point where she is confused not yet sure that she is bisexual .The film had quite a few light moments where you could laugh for that moment .
The film industry has tried to focus on each and every medical condition recently ,but the content for the time seems stretched ,if they could just make it more interesting with some more content it could be better ,It was a good movie but could have been slightly shorter by by 15-20 min because the 2nd  half to me was the repetition of the first half .

Shoot experience !!!

Being part of a  shoot can be a fun thing to do, especially if you know most of them….. it’s better because the chances of you getting bored are slightly low .But again it can become boring if you have to be with the same people for a long period of time and when there is hardly any involvement of yours and with a schedule of last moment changes to a lazy approach and no time management at all ,can make you just wonder when will this ever finish ?

Have they lost interest ?

Are they forced to do this ?

And yes I understand the film industry works like this , But, here we are a group who have taken up this assignment to do something worthwhile and have given are time to it .But if that time is itself not being utilised to the fullest the delays will only cause frustrations and make us feel like how long can I be in that holiday mood ?

One day, two days but the third day we should put the same energy for things we are passionate about,which I guess was missing In this project where we all were students and giving our time to some fun ,some work on one location with 3 actors and 5 assistants and 4 camera men, the output could hardly be seen. 

And to conclude this experience I would just say yes, too many cooks just spoil the broth

The World Cup performance 

Indians are crushed by the Australian in Australia once again ,some things in history don’t change .

Like today we couldn’t chase  300+ against Australia even after playing in their country for the last 4 months  ,chasing is surely are biggest weakness ,losing a toss is another thing that goes wrong with us .

The  team hasn’t improved at all ,about 12 years ago ,2003 World Cup final we just scored 234 and today too 233 on both occasions we were playing against the same team and had a good start but could not make use of it ,they were  too dependable on the top 3  batsmen and if they don’t performe  ,the middle order tends to collapse under pressure and added to this if the captain doesn’t perform it’s total disaster.

The fighting spirit is just not there 330 was not difficult ,they made it look difficult and the battle was lost with 4 down for 100 and not taking off when needed ,also Mostly everybody expected India to make it in the semifinals with the way there were placed and there were no surprises with other team too being part of the later knockout stages and the semi too were expected to be played amongst these ,only the hype of India playing against  pak kept the fans on their toes to watch the QF between the host and the visitor .

But the semi final was the real test ,the real World Cup and the real battleground which mattered ,but couldn’t be won .

Ok I agree we could not win 8/8 matches this World Cup ,today must not have been our day ,but what do you have to say about the loss by 95 runs and with 3 overs to spare and no where close to the target .

And what do you have to say about the missed opportunity that changed the game ?

Do you believe you were over confident this time ?for this real test .

If we were champions ,why dint we show it .has the Midas touch from our captain disappeared ?
