Reading- Reader!

Reading

There is so much that goes into breaking down the story, The thought, the idea – Where you can look at a simple story from your point of view and your personal experience, the difference & Similarities you felt before you read the book and travelled to the authors country to reading a book after travelling to the authors country to living the authentic life of the story you read- Behaving like the characters you loved the most and travelling and believing you are living in that city or travelling to the exact locations of where the story takes places to compare how the author has matured over time by comparing his previous works to the most recent works.

Reading can enrich you in so many ways! It can make you look at the same things through a tunnel vision or through an experts eye and give you clarity by reading similar topics from other authors.

Reading makes you imagine a certain thing and when you travel to that particular place, the reality is different or the same vision you were shown by the author.

Reading can give you insights about locals otherwise you would be Oblivious to.

And when you are part of a reading club – You can associate with so many things through the experiences of others as well as yours.

Lonesome!

I often go to coffee shops and sit by myself on a table. But,Whenever I have visited and just sat at a coffee shop, the waiters and service people keep asking me if anyone is coming or for that matter the other people out there wondering if anyone would be coming before they could grab the chairs for their friends or business meets.Go into any Starbucks, and you’ll probably see two kinds of tables: round tables and rectangular tables. There’s a reason for the round tables. According to Reader’s Digest, the round tables are supposed to make you feel more at home when you’re by yourself. Then why do the service people question,When you are by yourself at coffee shops or for that matter restaurants. Why can’t I go to restaurant and occupy a table and have a meal by myself. I mean,Where in The rule book is it written,That you need company to enjoy a meal? I completely understand it’s considered logically that meals are eaten together,But haven’t you heard or experienced teenagers eating meals by themselves when watching television or streaming online websites ?Is it to difficult to accept and welcome people who are loners. Is this a reason why a huge number of people around are preferring to order food online and be socially isolated rather than going out and enjoying a meal at the restaurant or cafe and experience a meal with all their sense being involved ? The Visual appeal,The fragrance,The taste and the feel of the meal with the freshness sizzling around. I completely understand occasionally this would not make sense commercially,But you don’t have to be rude to the one’s who would be having meals by themselves.

Go Goa!!

Goa seem’s so huge.In the last one year have visited Goa thrice and haven’t really gone to the same place twice. In terms of the geography too! When we last visited we were at the Candolim beach,The beach closest to Panjim(City side) we were only around Taj exotica and Aguada and hence only explored that area. But,This time we explored the Morijim beach North of Goa,
51 Kms from Panjim the capital of Goa.
This Goa Visit was more for Food & Party and that’s why  we had some of the  finest food in Goa.Sublime in Vagator for continental food must  try the Fish Bass.Gunpowder or Black Pepper Prawns,La Palage for Sunset & Dessert, chronicles for Partying & Drinks and Burger Factory’s Prawn Burger is Must with the other burgers that are to die for. These were some of the places we tried & loved.
Next time hoping to explore yet another side of Goa.

Coorg : A Weekend Destination.

It’s been more than a month.Since I have written a blog and the travel & work  has been one of the reasons.

This is a blog about my recent visit to Coorg.
Having heard so much about the place and the Coffee Planation,Coorg was on my list. The journey was long and tiring ,But a very serene scenic place for the  weekendA four hour drive from Mangalore airport  through the hills and no network connection throughout is very exhausting and challenging for the ones who have been constantly connectedOnce you reach Coorg and walk in to the hotel. You are totally  walking in the woods and it’s one of the most amazing experience. The walks through the trees  overlooking greenery from the balcony is one of the most blissful experience which you wouldn’t haven’t experienced for a long time. The Walks are like treks every day, You are forced to exercise and love the healthy routine you should follow. The only sightseeing’s are the views which are like going through the sand dune safaris.  And  you are going through a rocky ride here. The corgi cuisine is very typical of the south Indian food and tasty enough to miss your diet and have a cheat day everyday
