Book Review !!-Personal review .

Hi!! I just thought about trying my hand in book reviewing and here it begins with this book. Hope you enjoy it. And can honestly post your suggestion in the comments column.
Colourless Tsukuru Tazaki and his years of pilgrimage by Haruki Murakami is a story about Tuskuru Tazaki, who had four friends at school and their names symbolised colours, The two boys Akamastu meaning’ red pine ‘, Oumi ‘Blue Sea’ while the two girls were shirane ‘white root’ and Kurono ‘black field ‘, but only Tazaki whose name had no connection with colour hence the book is titled colourless Tazaki. The story moves ahead, with one day out of the blue, Tuskuru Tazaki friends announced they didn’t want to see him ever again. And abruptly ending the friendship, and since that day the thought has been troubling him Why did they cut off friendship But soon he meets Sara, Who tells him that the time has come to find out what happened and where are they all Will he be able to solve the mystery?

The writing is descriptive, describing the setting very well, the story moves very fast and you are so hooked, you don’t feel like keeping the book away and the only time you want to keep it away is once you have known the complete story. The second half of the book moves faster solving the mystery and getting closer to the climax, You must surely read the book it’s very engaging and worth a shot. The writer is a Japanese writer who is also known for his book

Kafka on the shore. And this one colourless book has been his most recent writing. The book also brings you closer in understanding how common and uncommon are names that contain colour in Japan. And not to forget you get another perspective of Japan culture.

Ahalya -Short film review

Watched Ahalya a short movie written &directed by Suyog ghosh the man behind the Famous “kahaani ” and the character Bob Biswas ,who has done quite a few films earlier too Aladdin ,jhankar beat Here comes a short film “Ahalya ” which has set the social media buzzing About the mystery .ahalaya opens with a police inspector (Roy ) ringing the bell ,and enetering a house to find out about a missing model But then meets (Radhika Apte ) who he is bestowed by and when he is inspecting the place ,he matches the photo with the creation of the artist and they are very identical .The story then moved to inspector explaining why he is visiting this house and the protagonist begins telling him the inspector the story of the stone ,first he (Roy ) finds it hard to believe him then he replies ok I believe you ,walks up to the room where Radhika Apte Is and looks into the mirror ,see the protagonist face in the room ,that’s the moment when you go oh …what just happened .And soon you realise he (Roy)too has turn into a creation .a gripping story ,based on the myth Hindu mythology of the ahalya a creation of Lord bharma, and the myth is believed to be Ahalya was the most beautiful women in the world ,but was cursed by her husband old sage Gautama for infidelity .This short film by sugoy ghosh is surely a must watch with unsolved mysteries and the idea of the story being based in Bengali and trying to showcase the myths of Kolkata .

Dil Dhadakne do ..

The introduction of the characters and the Mehra family was done very well .The Mehra family being very wealthy and part of a high society , showed how the thought process and mindset of these people are ,as they are more worried about what others would think rather than actually knowing whether they are happy or not with their decisions ,also we all have choices but what’s the point if we can’t choose them ,the misunderstanding between family’s ,the business proposition “deals ” the conditional love that bring family together and how emotions always bind the family together .The thinking of how women are treated ,and how men are treated differently from them .There were quite a few dialogues supporting this argument .How behaviour occasionally shows that we are being disrespectful when we are just telling the truth .The characterisation of every character done so well that you could recognise each of them and relate to somebody you might have come across .

The film too spoke about that not everybody is blind just connecting the dots would get to the result of why ?

The film had good music by Shankar eshaan Loy ,who I believe has been a part of ZMND (zindagi na milagi dobara )

The star cast the actors right from Anil kapoor to Farhan akthar have done a fabulous job especially Ranveer singh with his expression and timing .

Priyanka Chopra performance was very realistic .

The small details of not mentioning daughter name after she is married

And the thought of why it wasn’t done showed how we humans think .

The ending showed no matter how successful ,wealthy you are if you aren’t happy amongst each other it doesn’t matter .

The dialogue “I don’t remember when we spent together as a family last “when they are in the life boat showed the culture of Indian family’s who are so family oriented .

summer experience !!

These 20 days working with MTV INDIA’S NEXT TOP MODEL’S  was an experience ,worth sharing and so let me tell you about the behinds the scene action that go on before we finally air the show on television ,There is a lot of co-ordination thats needs to be looked into ,right from the production team to knowing  exactly how many cameras would be needed for the show, the sound for input and output ,and that’s not all what time shift is needed ?,will it be a 12 hour shift if its 12 hour shift ,when does it start .The co-odination for the guest judges ,what time is the car needed to be sent ,what time are the expected to arrive ,what are their requirements ,also the co-ordination for the lighting where does the light needed to be placed ,how light is needed for the perfect shots ,the costumes colours that might or might not suit the background ,The size and design for the setting for the art direction team to make the sets where the maths that you learnt comes in use .If  you thought this is all ?think again ,the number of people today on the sets  required are from caterers for food to analyzing the, cost to  be added on daily bases with cancellation of any shoot ,These  are the  few of the points .But the most important ones are  Time management to get things rolling on time and not just getting blank footage of nothing happening to the rehearsals to get the perfect output .And now here it comes the most basic requirement which we keep hearing  wheres the script ? A script to outline exactly whats happened in the day and dialogues to have the catch phrases for the challenges being summarized .Oh!!! how could  I forget this the moments of all the shoots being stalled for conflicts of interest just because we hit the wrong notes!! any guesses what this is ? EGO ,yes being egoistic for all the wrong reasons ,oh!! might be the right reason for the one who felt hurt .If you are egoistic you cannot be in this field because here ,we are a team working to live one mans dream .
And to conclude all that glitters is not gold ,and being transparent and having effective communication skills are much needed here .
