Road less travelled ?

Travelling ,There are a lot of people who haven’t even started traveling the globe and then there are a few who’s work doesn’t keep them apart from travelling the globe but have you wondered what’s these groups have in common ,” food “well the most of them its to make a choice from the options given on the menu ,with being on the “safe ” side the one which you would pick at home too ,but to travel the globe is also an experiment with the local cuisines ,which we traveller are skeptical about or are mostly clueless about ,since we depend on the travel agencies or are willing to do little research about the place .And with so much of information on the net the traveller haven’t really become active but lazier to plan more than what they can do .

ThE bOmBaY CaNtEeN visit !!!

The Bombay canteen, after being rejected twice for no space over the last month, this Saturday we decided to just land up without booking  a table hoping to get a place. Right from the time we entered, our childhood memories were revived, from the”kismi” chocolate, which this generation has no clue about to the roohafza bottles used for water, the ambience was a little posh, the twist in food with meethi thepla’s used for tacos to the twist in Rasagulla with coffee, made me feel first that this would be the case if i was visiting somebody, who’s way of living would make we wonder and point out at how cheap the bottles were, or that they are still learning to cook and want to be  part of the society hence trying to impress us with these tacos .
The bold choices can only be tried at hotels and restaurant because we are courageous and want to try something new when we visit a new place, but if we were suggested to experiment at home we would use terms like are you Crazy ?
Bombay canteen this Saturday had the ambience too set like a old canteen with music from the 80s playing and everything else was also interesting the Hinglish names on the menu ,the twist the taste and the setting .

Dil Dhadakne do ..

The introduction of the characters and the Mehra family was done very well .The Mehra family being very wealthy and part of a high society , showed how the thought process and mindset of these people are ,as they are more worried about what others would think rather than actually knowing whether they are happy or not with their decisions ,also we all have choices but what’s the point if we can’t choose them ,the misunderstanding between family’s ,the business proposition “deals ” the conditional love that bring family together and how emotions always bind the family together .The thinking of how women are treated ,and how men are treated differently from them .There were quite a few dialogues supporting this argument .How behaviour occasionally shows that we are being disrespectful when we are just telling the truth .The characterisation of every character done so well that you could recognise each of them and relate to somebody you might have come across .

The film too spoke about that not everybody is blind just connecting the dots would get to the result of why ?

The film had good music by Shankar eshaan Loy ,who I believe has been a part of ZMND (zindagi na milagi dobara )

The star cast the actors right from Anil kapoor to Farhan akthar have done a fabulous job especially Ranveer singh with his expression and timing .

Priyanka Chopra performance was very realistic .

The small details of not mentioning daughter name after she is married

And the thought of why it wasn’t done showed how we humans think .

The ending showed no matter how successful ,wealthy you are if you aren’t happy amongst each other it doesn’t matter .

The dialogue “I don’t remember when we spent together as a family last “when they are in the life boat showed the culture of Indian family’s who are so family oriented .

Sibling rivalry or love ?

Today I just came across an interesting thought while sipping my coffee ,and overheard two people speak about…. How having a sibling (sister) can make any difference when it comes to behaving in front of a girl.,it’s a little difficult for me to write this because I have a sibling (sister) and don’t know how living without one would be like, but all I can say it’s a little easy to understand the other girls because I live with my sister ,I know you would say nobody can understand a girl but you can surely understand them a little better, about their
emotional needs and what they might like or dislike ,when is it a good time to speak to them and when to leave them ,it take years but I have grown up with my sister and her friends so I can understand what it might be like to be a guy with a sibling and understand the other girls .also a sibling (sister ) can give you a foundation of how to behave in front of girls
Imagine not having a sister just makes me wonder that I might just be a little more shy than I am now ,a little less confident and nervous when taking to girls
