Is Love a sin?
Love, we are always very shy of admitting that we are in love, especially since we feel love is a crime. How can romance be a crime, a felony, a mistake. Romance is the most beautiful relationship that one can have on earth besides that of a mother and a child.
But strangely when romance is discussed within family and friends it almost becomes like a sin.
The big question that comes across between families are what does he do? Where is he from ? Are you mad to fall in love?
And then if love turns into a love marriage proposal then it is not love but war.
Where is the boy or the girl from, how much does he earn? How much is she educated? Where will they stay after marriage? How will they survive? How long will they remain in love? Will the marriage survive the differences in terms of class, or caste?
All I am saying is that if the reason behind the big decision is love, and the decision is between two partners who are going to live their lives together then who are we to be so judgmental?
Have we ever found true love?
Do we really understand love?
Do we practice compassion?
Are we matured enough to judge other’s love and romance?
If we worry about so many reasons in life can we be really happy?
Are we at peace?
Will we able to love anybody ever truly, if we are so anti-love ?
Ultimately the decision of being together for lovers should be left to them. If they are legal adults, they understand the consequences of romance and love marriage. At the end of the day they could be as wrong or as right as we are in our life if we look at it form a larger perspective… Are we perfect, have we lead the perfect life… So let love chill!

The illusion of love …
So in the days of Christmas and New Years Eve, everybody is singing a song of romance. Romance is what stays with us for the longest. Many times we have enjoyed watching some of our favorite romantic movies repeatedly. From Dilwale to Love Actually, romance never fails to make us fall in love again and again… Infact we just can’t get enough of the characters or the stories. The emotions that we’re all wrapped in those 120-150 minutes make us forget all our woes.
Similarly in a novel, we enjoy the story so much that we just can’t put the book down and are dying to know the end till we have been done with those 300 odd pages of reading. Finally we realize that the central theme of the story that got us hooked is actually a spin on Romance. The only difference amongst these stories and real life is that in the stories whether it’s motion picture or literature the author can limit the romance to the extent he deems fit. Where as in Real life we continue with our story till it ends bitterly or even sweetly and forget that there is nothing we control except the decision we can take on choosing which path we should take. But we get so carried away with the romance on screen and novels that we often our misguided by our true emotions. We fail to understand that the simpler the life much more easy to handle love and romance. Also in movies the characters are larger than life, they can act bold, where as in reality we really don’t know how others would react to our feelings and sentiments. Thus we should only listen to our own heart first and not get influenced by Romantic novels and movies. Instead we should use Romance in stories to inspire us.

Love is in the air!
Love is the common factor that can bind us yet we so often take for granted.
We live in a world where we differentiate so much amongst people. Right from the colour to the appearance and to their social status that we forgot that the most important aspect of judging a person is how he or she as a person makes us feel in their presence. They maynot be good spokespersons or savvy conversationalists but their positivity rubs on us and we feel attracted to them in silence. Simply their presence makes us feel happy and proud of being around. Their calmness is contagious like the serenity of a lake. We can spend hours around them without being distracted or bored. Perhaps it’s the love that connects.
On the other hand most of the times we get too judgmental about people. We want them to behave in a particular way and be of a particular status or personality. This is when we miss the essence of love. The essence of love is to just be. The rest is all waste of time and idleness of the mind. The mind having nothing better to do misses out on the moment and tries to act like a big bully. It tells us what to do instead of how to feel. It takes us away from the real essence of being to rather the meaningless pursuit of what is unimportant in the larger scheme of things. So to love and feel the love of others is more soothing than the best of wine that you have ever had.

TigerMates personal book review !!!
I am just done with reading ‘Tiger Mates’, and it was an enriching novel especially since it describes how sometimes we would want to take revenge exactly for the same reason that we were punished, but then love overpowers and make us discover our true purpose. Also it highlights the plight of the tribal of Chhattisgarh, which has not been covered in a novel yet. Until Amrish Shah decided to write about the Naxalities terror and made it very relevant to the socio-politics of India. Tiger Mates has got a strong antagonist and the protagonist Shyla comes across as a very dynamic character. Neil the hero is also a charmer that will steal the reader’s hearts away. Tiger Mates is a valiant attempt by the screenwriter of DON 2- Amrish Shah.
The theme and the setting and the characters are as contemporary as it can get. For me Tiger mates is a Novel that I can reread a couple of time cause there is more than what meets the eye.
