summer experience !!

These 20 days working with MTV INDIA’S NEXT TOP MODEL’S  was an experience ,worth sharing and so let me tell you about the behinds the scene action that go on before we finally air the show on television ,There is a lot of co-ordination thats needs to be looked into ,right from the production team to knowing  exactly how many cameras would be needed for the show,the sound for input and output ,and that’s not all what time shift is needed ?,will it be a 12 hour shift if its 12 hour shift ,when does it start .The co-odination for the guest judges ,what time is the car needed to be sent ,what time are the expected to arrive ,what are their requirements ,also the co-ordination for the lighting where does the light needed to be placed ,how light is needed for the perfect shots ,the costumes colours that might or might not suit the background ,The size and design for the setting for the art direction team to make the sets where the maths that you learnt comes in use .If  you thought this is all ?think again ,the number of people today on the sets  required are from caterers for food to analyzing the, cost to  be added on daily bases with cancellation of any shoot ,These  are the  few of the points .But the most important ones are  Time management to get things rolling on time and not just getting blank footage of nothing happening to the rehearsals to get the perfect output .And now here it comes the most basic requirement which we keep hearing  wheres the script ? A script to outline exactly whats happened in the day and dialogues to have the catch phrases for the challenges being summarized .Oh!!! how could  I forget this the moments of all the shoots being stalled for conflicts of interest just because we hit the wrong notes!! any guesses what this is ? EGO ,yes being egoistic for all the wrong reasons ,oh!! might be the right reason for the one who felt hurt .If you are egoistic you cannot be in this field because here ,we are a team working to live one mans dream .
And to conclude all that glitters is not gold ,and being transparent and having effective communication skills are much needed here .

week In Paris !!!

 
Paris the first three days Have really being a mix of emotions from being disappointed after seeing the louvre and effiletower in terms of the structure .The Louis Vuitton store in singapore seems a better bet .And as far as the effiletower is considered it’s a disappointment in terms of being  nominated as a wonder of the world ,there are many other beautiful sites in the world which are better .The champ élysées when compared to the other streets the fifth avenue in NYC ,orchid street in singapore or Oxford street in London .The champ elysee is beautiful with trees around making it feel good to walk around ,the macarons at Laudree were really amazing not too sweet .The walk around have been less tiring then ever ,the first 3 days have ended making us taking the next journey to Brussels for a day .The last 3 days in Paris ,were covered on foot again ,going through the famous sites of effiletower & louvre ,Notre dame ,the cathedrals The Sunday was one of the most restless days Everything all the shopping places were shut ,why ??? Taxi ride to the only store opened ,and a few interesting things bought ,Monday is here the day to shop and yes we shopped at the home stores ,walked it all the way to and from the hotel to the shopping malls and then enjoyed the Night drive and view from the effiletower  ,imagine if we wouldn’t have seen this ,it would have surely been the worst crime committed on this holiday .Tuesday the last morning in Paris and packing and leaving walking around for a taxi and finally get one at 9:20 and traffic ,10:00 and we might miss the train for Zurich it’s 10:12 and here we are for our train at 10:20 ,we have boarded the train …

Swissed 

  

The Swiss week , a week full of Swiss chocolates ,traveling by the Swiss railways to the cities and train hopping all over ,with some great views ,natural beauty ,and small by lanes up hill and down hill,the connectivity of trams in the cities too were smooth and hassle free ,the week ended with the weather going high to 30 degree in our last spot and welcoming us in India with  40degree .


Travel Tips:
Switzerland ,Lucerne travel  brochure has a page where if you cut it and take it to the buchmann chocolate shop  to get a bag of FREE LIN\DT MINI chocolates .
Another point to remember if you have been shopping around in the (EU)European union cities go to the global blue tax free centre in the local galleria arcade since Switzerland isn’t part of the (EU) and you won’t get the tax refund there for your shopping in the European union cities ,Last but not the least if you want to grab lindt hot chocolate you can get that at the zurich airport . 
Day 4,Brussels day trip was from the eye of the local .From getting to eat at the best hot chocolate place to getting treated for the best Belgian chocolates and enjoying waffles and fries and last but not the least getting to see the tourist attraction with the history behind it .The central Brussels were covered on Foot ,the 9 hours there in Brussels we covered most of it.
