Wazir -Movie Review !!

Wazir- A brave ATS officer (Farhan Akhtar) and a disabled grandmaster (Amitabh Bachchan) face a mysterious and dangerous opponent (Neil Nitin Mukesh).
The film Opens with Danish (Farhan Akthar)and Ruhi (Aditi Rao hydari) driving to the market in Delhi with their only child busy playing on the phone ,when Danish spots a car with a terror group and calls his co-team member and follows the terrorist while chasing the car and once they reach in site and start firing each other,Danish (Farhan Akthar ) realises his child is quite and bleeding, but as they reach the hospital she is declared dead Now the movie actually begins. The story begins moving in the first 15 minutes itself, and using the incident described earlier as a prologue for the story.Amitab Bachan the protagonist of the story is introduced just when you think about where is the game of chess coming? The Movie about just 103 minutes (1Hr43Min)moves fast enough for you to wonder what will happen next ? a thriller based on an Original Story by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, also the Producer of the movie gave an opportunity to Bejoy Nambiar the Director, who many thought debuted with Wazir, but in fact has made two movies earlier (Shaitan 2011) With kalki koechlin ,Rajit kapur and RajumarRao and (David 2013) both the movies which don’t really ring a bell in your mind .But Wazir making it difficult to predict the end was a thrilling movie ,based on a story of game of chess.

The background score builds the tension when needed in the movie ,most noticeable during the moments of argument between Neil Nitin Mukesh and Farhan Akthar and the moment when Farhan Akthar is chasing Amitab Bachan and trying to stop him going to the airport .

A lot of the movies these days are working on the background music and mostly working on a track that might become more popluar then the rest and “Atrangi Yaari” is one such song .This movie had to release 6 months ago ,but finally released in January this year and it was worth the wait .Wazir – Go ahead and watch this one.

Storytelling Vs telling a lie.

The other day, I was going through an interview when this thought struck me ,are Lies & Storytelling the same ?We lie to hide the truth from others, we lie because we cannot admit the truth ,We lie because we fear speaking out the truth as it will leave us alone,we might be hurting somebody if we speak up the truth .Ok that’s lying then what’s storytelling ? Storytelling is the power of telling stories that must have happened ,A piece of News that you have heard and you narrate it in a little dramatic way to get the attention of the listener .But Now if you actually see there is a thin line of a difference amongst the two in both forms we Lie to defend ourself even though we know we are wrong, guilty of taking the wrong side ,but again it might seem wrong to you ,but it might be the right thing for the speaker .At the same time stories we tell to entertain ,to make our imaginations run wild to impress how good we are at speaking ,Stories transform us to a magical place to a make believe world for us it might be dreaming while others laugh and say he is living with such a big lie.But for us its a fantasy a world that we create for ourself to be happy and defining the reality in others terms the truth that we know ,,but imagination is a lie for others ,but we are living by being hopeful for things to turnaround .

Cafe Haqq Se -Food Review!!

Cafe Haqq Se is the latest addition in Mumbai’s current favourite food paradise Kamla mills compound ,this is another restaurant that’s now following the trend of the Indian cuisine with a twist, or popularly known as progressive Indian food ,the interiors are very tastefully done ,The chairs are upholstered with colourful designs in the material used for rickshaw seats to create drama, there are also fancy red and black chairs at the centre stage for performances. The walls of the restaurant has been painted with intricate black and white work depicting the cultures of all the Indian states by Kanak Nanda, an upcoming artist. Thus making this a nice casual spacious sit down place with peppy music to let yourself unwind “Haqq Se “.The highlight of my visit would be the Butter chicken A la Kiev, which was a fried chicken roulette with the butter chicken gravy filling inside, served with pan naan, one of the Chef’s speciality.

This is a must try main course dish. The Indian desserts were also served with a twist- the white mouse rassgulla and the Gulaab jamun pie is a must try. And oh ! Wait last but not the least the Pan flavoured Jhujhups were refreshingly a different form of after mint.

The palate cleaner pops concepts !! For moving on to the next course of meals make this place taking pride of saying it Haqq Se that here is another trendsetter in the culinary competitive field set by them.

Haqq Se is a trendsetter in the culinary field, different from the rest and that’s what makes this cafe worth putting it on your bucket list.

Hope

Hope -that’s what  What most of the Indians are surviving on ,hoping that every day is good ,every second day is better and there are many more good days that they can look forward to.

I too was hopeful recently during my vacation when at mumbai International Airport security check I forgot my ID and only realised this when the flight took off ,for the next 3 weeks on my holiday,I was stressed ,tensed and hoping that I might not have too go through that process of applying for duplicate Id the headache everybody goes through if they loose any document had hope that the ID card would be in a safe place .

Three weeks later and as soon as I arrived I went to the information desk to find out , I found out the process and next day spoke to the concerned person and to my surprise ,they actually had my ID card I was impressed with our systems and

Felt lucky and was reassured there are some things that only happen In India .And the country has hope to become better .
