Choices determine human destiny not chances -A completely true statement for few ,while a debatable statement for others .Choices determine human destiny since we as human have had choices to choose. from choosing the partner we would like to spend our life with ,to what we want to make of are lives .While chances are just a few for life to make are destiny since things might fall in place for some people who have never had a plan of their life while for other it’s always about the choices they choose for their results .Its only when we see ourself falling   from our dreams do we blame are choices for our destiny .Also choices do not always have to be manipulative they can just be what your heart tells you to do at that moment that will 99% always be right and just a 1% wrong if you would have gone the other way .just like what Steve jobs said

Your time is limited .So don’t waste it living someone else life.have the courage to follow your heart and intuition they already know what you truly want to become everything else is secondary .

how long will it work like this?

India the country of billions ,and the focus of the world with many Mncs entering the country ,and the exposure from the world ,the work culture need to change in the country ,when we are given the opportunity to work in corporate,sports,education and hospitality and advertising ,Why are we restricted for are comfort .
In terms like having a dress code for an organisation ,Institute and for that matter any field ,I am trying to put forward an argument of being comfortable in jobs like school,college where we are given strict restriction especially girls to not wear jeans,shirts,T-shirts and instead wear the traditional indian outfits .
Why do we need to follow this.The only consideration you must have is how well or how bad you are doing the job ,and giving you the results of the job you have been given.And how good are you with the job then why insist on having restrictions ?,End of the day its all about the job that you have been given that needs to be done ? If we don’t change the attitude now ,then when will we and its high time we change and follow with the times .Also we must make all the profession look “cool” so that we have more interested in the jobs ,or else we might not have any who would not like to do the job since there are too many restrictions .

Should a brand change it’s identity ?

How strong and important is an identity or in other terms perception,image or positioning .
I was thinking about the article I had read on Tata nano and was wondering how challenging would it be for them to re-positioning the car as a youth car .
In today’s times,when we see people spending about 40K-60K on mobile phones ,to make a statement “yes we can afford this”,Tata nano labelled it’s nano as the “cheapest car “now that tag has becomes too expensive for Tata nano ,since their sales have been declining and while they are trying to reinvent the car and focus on today youth .And with the new car launches every month by other automobiles at a affordable price with great features .It has become a difficult place for the nano
The main point for writing this post was to make you aware of the challenge’s a brand faces while repositioning itself ,even the colourful apple phones failed to make an impact on Indian consumer because it was labelled the “cheapest iPhone”.Its not just brands that occasionally fail while repositioning itself .But also celebrities fail when they change their choices of movie because the audience are used to their star doing a certain genre of film , it becomes another challenge for the celebrities since thier is a strong perception in the mind about a star,For the audience .But with brands they have created an image for themselves in the begging by offering features and services and because of some unknown reason they want to reposition or re brand themselves which gives them new challenges to face .

Tech visit !!!

The F-a-c-e-b-o-o-k E–f-f -e-c–t!!!
Just arrived at California ,San Jose and while just chatting I asked my cousin ,could we go and see the fb office (since he has got a job with fb)
Was really excited to visit the office and the morning appeared time for sightseeing ,the first stop google HQ this was looking like a fun place to work and a walk around .the next stop is Facebook ,we entered and Mark was busy in a meeting and that was it the moment to get a glimpse of mark was one Wow !!!moment .
The journey had begun and we understood the cultural which is casual ,people in short ,slippers ,who were either lying down and working ,working in the garden space and just like a cafe environment where everybody is in the same surrounding , the senior representatives and the juniors while some were writing algorithm to make it a better Facebook experience for its users ,other were busy brainstorming or working on Instagram .
Everything was on the house for the employee drinks,snacks ,gadgets and a whole lot of food from around the world for the nationalities from the world working at Facebook .
Surely one of these days and visit which give you the privilege of first hand experience of the environment .
