Bloody Diamond

While waiting for  another movie show to begin. And realising the neighbour too has come  for the same  screening and  as we were catching up what has been happening in our lives.I don’t know how,But he told me about the movie, “Blood diamond”The story and star cast and  I was immediately, drawn to go and watch this movie.Instead of what I had come to watch.

Almost a year later today,I had the movie saved on “MyList” on the popular streaming website and it did not disappoint me at all. With the story establishing the characters and story in the first few minutes,to taking off with the action and tension of the scenario of what would be happening next.

The story is all about illegal trading of diamonds and how one is forced,Brainwashed to be part of this racket and how everyone is under suspicion of hiding away diamonds for their benefit.

The 150 minutes action packed movie is worth spending part of your weekend. If You haven’t watched Blood Diamond,Go watch it now!! It’s got a story,It’s got the emotions of empathy for the characters every time they are in trouble and the One Question will they find it or not.

Trailblazer Summit !!

The Trailblazer Summit,Browsing through various websites on things to do in Mumbai city,This weekend. I came across an event. To network for Professional from all fields. The event had founder,CEO and artist who have changed the way for the city to grow and made life easier. The event was done by both founders .

The environmental bit was done by MoleculeBaba and the Art side was done by Amplify art.

Both together,Made this like a city summit,Platform like the Tedx to learn the new developments taking around. This was one of the best ways for me to spend the Sunday in the city.

ThE bOmBaY CaNtEeN visit !!!

The Bombay canteen, after being rejected twice for no space over the last month, this Saturday we decided to just land up without booking  a table hoping to get a place. Right from the time we entered, our childhood memories were revived, from the”kismi” chocolate, which this generation has no clue about to the roohafza bottles used for water, the ambience was a little posh, the twist in food with meethi thepla’s used for tacos to the twist in Rasagulla with coffee, made me feel first that this would be the case if i was visiting somebody, who’s way of living would make we wonder and point out at how cheap the bottles were, or that they are still learning to cook and want to be  part of the society hence trying to impress us with these tacos .
The bold choices can only be tried at hotels and restaurant because we are courageous and want to try something new when we visit a new place, but if we were suggested to experiment at home we would use terms like are you Crazy ?
Bombay canteen this Saturday had the ambience too set like a old canteen with music from the 80s playing and everything else was also interesting the Hinglish names on the menu ,the twist the taste and the setting .
