An Experience!!!

The Mahindra AQ

The day had finally arrived of the AQ(AutoQuoitient) ,and we were wondering what the format would be like ,what the question would be like,who might the participants be ? and so the two of us , one a crazy auto lover , who has dedicated a blog and has a page too on social networking sites and the other who was interested in the event but was a little skeptical . so it was 15:45 when I just couldn’t wait to leave home ,yes I was a little excited & nervous since for the first time ever I was participating on such a platform .So I was at the andheri station ,and roaming around the the shops near the station and was surprised to see two shops by the same owner in the premises ,also was totally shocked to see two McDonalds right opposite each other ,when my team member called to ask are you on the right McDonalds or the left .(Mind you they were right opposite each other)….it was funny trying to explain to him where , so i stood between them . And then at 16:40 we left the station ,tried to get a auto rickshaw ,but just when we could not handle the rejection by the auto driver we realised to walk it ,and just when we reached the lane ,we saw a rickshaw willing to take us ,but on per seat bases ,so this time we rejected him when we were just 10minutes away ,but since it was already 17:00 and we really dint know where we have to go and we took the rickshaw finally to bhavan’s college ,and there we were ,the participants were all working people,engineers and passionate auto lovers ,and we were looking like the youngest ,we were the youngest and so the written round started and we were clueless ,such technical questions and we could just answer about 4-5 correct question out of 20 question . Yes we were disqualified ,and sat in the auditorium to understand what sort of questions are asked ,and the Q&A started the question made us think again are we really auto fans ?but,I was like ,we should at least try and take a goodie bag ,But couldn’t get close to it . This was an annual car quiz sort of an event ,which has been held for the past five year ,but for the past four year they were for the employee of the organiser ,its a popular Indian car brand and this year it was open to public ,so we had gone for the event.

 

The two American brands !!!

The other day I was just going through the blog and I was like why  am I writing a blog only on movie reviews? so today I am writing an article ,I hope this interest you .
It’s about the two big names Starbucks and coca cola

These two brands have driven not just India but In a way the world crazy and since whenever we need a cola drink ,we would ask would you have coca cola ,or while serving we would again ask ,it’s nothing wrong in asking or offering coca cola ,but offering a coca cola and giving another brand . That the big question why has coca-cola become what it is today .just because it’s an American brand ,I mean we do have so many brands in your country too but they are on a small scale .India itself had thumbs up ,which was one of the best cola drinks produced by the country but that too the coca cola company bought I guess they were afaird to compete with the thumbs up brand that they decided to buy it off.
The American make small things so big as if they are the best in the world
Even with coffee there are so many local cafe outlets ,but still people go crazy with Starbucks it’s just another coffee shop right .
I had heard quite a few people saying when we had coffee cafe day opened an popular coffee chain in India ,when will we have Starbucks here in India and now that we have it ,people are going overboard with it . The products are all Indian whether the milk or cream it’s I guess the times which we are living in .The people have become too brand conscious .
Also I guess the people expect a quality , and a standard that might come with brands like these since they are international ,all over we also would know the menu or drinks offered by a particular brand that keep us loyal to be visiting or consuming the product we have faith and believe in and that just might be why Starbucks has been doing so well.

Sachin Tendulkar -“good things do come in small packages”

“Good things do some in small packages”
When a 16 year old kid 5″5 ft walked in to the crease in 89″ who would have thought he would have a journey of 24 years with excitement ,fun ,drama ,action all that a masala movie would have in 3 hr this guy had it all he was none other than Sachin Tendulkar .
Sachin Tendulkar ,is not going to be seen again on the field from now onwards ,but he has was one of the players ,who has given us so much moments to remember through out our childhood .And a career spanning 24 years just tells us “he was 16 years old with 24 years of experience “.He was also one player ,who just did what he knew – that was to play cricket .
He Sachin Tendulkar is a brand for the country who has changed our national sport from hockey to cricket ,you would hardly see people watching hockey ,but cricket everybody did .He has been an inspiration for so many that the current Indian team have all been inspired by him to be part of the game .
Sachin Tendulkar has created so many milestone and records that there isn’t any point in watching the game because they won’t be broken.
He had the passion,dedication that showed by he played ,even during his comeback from injury he was written off ,but it did not matter .
There will be no one like Sachin,nor would there be another Sachin .
Because Sach people are rare!!!

so,we have the Indian superhero hit the threatres today .And is it for children don’t really know .Was for adults don’t think so or is it for superhero lovers not really know who the target audience is .A predictable story ,3 hours long and inspired from 12 character and the effects (visual) were pretty good for indian standard ,there were few ideas which could have been executed well .The music was average .The number “raghu pathi raghav raja ram”has been one of the popular song of this season since an political film too had the same title with a slower version and a few lyrics were just a little different .

Bollywood as general has not been successful with sequel ,and this just might be one of the example 

It could have been good movie ,only if the story would have been a little clear .

 

Happy Diwali!!!

Diwali -festive season

 

this is Diwali !!! a week before

Diwali !!! its just a week away and it doesn’t really feel like the festive season is here ,you can hardly see any lights, and decoration ,also the firecracker have all gone silent ,in a way its surely is good to see that the pollution level and noise pollution falling ,but some noise should be there to feel its Diwali,also at a recent Diwali party I noticed people clicking more of there photography rather than playing cards like we normally would do with token(coins) from the past few years .Also I guess ,Diwali has not being given that much of importance ,since we have internet,so many apps and so many events all over the year its just become like any-other festival ,And since in India the dollar ,the economy downturn has made people more careful this Diwali,its become such a peaceful festival from the nosiest good for the environment .

Also the importance of Diwali will soon Dissappear at this rate ,I remember reading somewhere about kids asking there parents can we celebrate Diwali on our tablets ,this to me was like a joke when I first read ,but now its a serious thought to think about .

Technology is ruling us ,not we ruling the technology .

Anyways .
